The Paris 2024 Sailing Competition will be held in the city of Marseille on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea. The Roucas-Blanc Marina, to be known as the Marseille Marina for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, a point of departure for boats, has been adapted to stage a competition on the scale of the Olympic Games.

More than 250 boats are expected to feature on the start lines of the Paris 2024 Olympic Sailing Competition.

In total, the Paris 2024 Olympic Games will feature 330 athletes in the sailing competition, split evenly between male and female sailors.

The 2024 ILCA U21 World Championships will be held in Viana do Castelo, PORTUGAL at the Clube de Vela de Viana do Castelo.

The 2024 EurILCA Senior European Championships & Open European Trophy has been awarded to NC Kalamaki at New Alimos Marina in Athens, Greece.

NC Kalamaki, established in 1947, is one of the oldest nautical clubs in Greece, with a remarkable activity throughout the years, producing Sailing Olympic winners and champions.

The 2023 Pan American Games (Spanish: Juegos Panamericanos de 2023), officially the XIX Pan American Games and commonly known as Santiago 2023, is an upcoming international multi-sport event governed by the Panam Sports Organization, scheduled to be held in Santiago, Chile from 20 October to 5 November 2023. These are the first Pan American Games to be held in Chile, and the eighth to be held in South America.

The games are scheduled to be held in 39 venues across in the Santiago Metropolitan Region and three other regions of Chile. The Pan American Games and the 2023 Parapan American Games were organized by the Santiago Organizing Committee for the 2023 Pan and Parapan American Games.

The Sailing World Championships, which is held only once every four years, prepares the world’s best sailors for participation in the Olympic Games. In contrast to the Olympic Games, for which only one team per Olympic class per country qualifies, several teams from all countries may participate in this World Championship. As a result, there is a much stronger and larger field of competitors at the World Championships than at the Games.
